Ok..So I got my Rx7 a few months ago and have been happy as a pig in shit with it...This weekend however we had some SERIOUS rain in the ATL...Of course, I had to drive around all over in it...Well the car sat outside for a while in the rain and I fired it up and took about a 30 minute highway drive and found it to be stumbling at part throttle..I has never done this before...So I downshift and floor it, get into boost and it is fine...I put it back in 5th and it starts stumbling...WTF?....

Well, I got to my destination, and checked all my electrical connections and things looked ok...The car dried out and worked fine on my way home (It stopped raining for a while)...Well, Yesterday I am taking a trip to Conyers from Atlanta and I hit a MONSOON-type downpoor on the way and it starts Stumbling again......But this morning, It was fine (It stopped raining last night)..

I am planning on disconnecting most of my electrical connections under the hood tonight and spraying them with WD40 and wiping the outside of the connectors with White Lithium Grease...I hope this solves the problem...I am thinking maybe an injector Harness, coil hookups, etc is getting wet...

Any other ideas?

does it have a dist style ign or coil pack style? If it has a dist cap it may be just getting a little damp inside. also get a squirt bottle of water and spray it down under the hood. You may be able to get it stumble at idle with a little more water under the hood than normal, Do it only in certain spots at first so you can try to narrow it down to a certain system. Hope this helps.
I also put a teaspoon of salt in my water to make the water a little more alkaline. this seems to get electrical componets to fail easier. but you are using salt water you may or may not wat this all over your engine bay.
