Who knows whether or not the 85 Sunbird was available in a RWD version? To my knowledge, all were FWD vehicles in that year. Educate me! :tongue:

I'm no expert but I don't think any factory rwd sunbirds exist.

I have to agree, but I read something yesterday claiming they actually do. Now pre 1980 is all good, but after that I just can't see it, since they seem to fall directly into the J-body zone and those are all FWD to my knowledge.

Thanks Skeez. That's an older one, right? I wanna make sure that in 1985, all were one or the other. Well, unless of course they offered both... That one looks like my old 1976 Monza!

Monza, Sunbird, and Starfire, all the same rear drive car. Built on a Vega chassis, with modifications.
In 85 they were all FWD. Cavalier, Sunbird, etc.
