LS1 Mopar Turbo
Don't tell that to Evil. But I am much more Consitent with the 14 second automatic Lancer as opposed to 12 second Manual Z-28. Plus I never miss a shift. I just need a better converter for the Lancer. I can cut 60 foot times in the Lancer like I do in the Camaro and the Lancer is Front wheel drive go figure.

I have a spankin new TCI Street Fighter C-4 sitting in the garage. Its going to stay there.Autos are for wimps ;) .I can see a Tremec TKO replacing my T-5 in the near future.

For the dragstrip, the auto rules for consistency and no missed shifts. I hear so many ppl say that they wouldve had better e.t.'s if they wouldnt have missed that all important shift. How many ppl have you heard blow an engine cause of a missed shift, you dont hear of that in any auto tranny.
For autocrossing and track use, the stick cant be beat. Manual shifting can bring the car around a corner that an auto would only be hunting between gears. Heel and toe rules for those kind of events and autos have no place in these situations.
For the street, the stick is the most fun and wish my Z24 had stick, oh well.
Cant wait to finish the '86 as it has a 4speed stick, soon to be a 5 speed stick once I do the swap. ;)
