Some say the same about Steve Vai's playing as well......Alot of people compare him to blues guitarist, which he's not really.......A few blues riffs here and there, but mainly crisp, classical style sounding.....IMHO I think your basing Michael Spitzer's guitar style with regular blues riffs as well and not looking at the Classical side of his sound.....If you can download the whole song or any song off that album, you'd see this album is highly Heavy to thrash type sounding..... Hey, I love blues Rock N Roll, but I also like Classical style Rockers as well....
