ATTN: This is just an archive. You can view the full version here : The top 50 n/a bolt-on LS1 list is all 11 second cars now!

EvilLS1
My 11.992 doesn't even make the list anymore (got bumped today). You have to run better than 11.98 just to get the last place on the list now. Thats damn impressive considering all of those cars are n/a and internally stock!
I gotta get some new ET streets and get back to the track. :D

Here's the list:

I can hear Steve already.........:crying:

He'll probably come up with a Mopar fastest 50 list now and say that they are all in the 10's with minor tuning!

On Bias plies! Silly small block guys think they can cheat the laws of VOLUMETRIC EFFICIENCY!!! Sorry to burst yr bubble! :flip:

DODGE_MAIN
3800 pounds (approx) and 426 inches. And don't say BUT it has more cubic inches as an excuse! Because that was my argument in the first place! Big inches = big VE%!!! And you know the rest.... No replac....... :flip:

Tang
Hey Steve, try this. To make it more fair. Use a lb per cubic inch rule . The average F-Body race weight is 3600-3700lbs (depends on if you are my size or Evil's size...hehe) .
So 346ci is 10.4 lbs per ci .

To be equal the Hemi car would have to weigh 4430lbs . That is 5-6 tenths slower right there !

Since you wanna say bigger is better, run it my way ! See what wins then :boids:

DODGE_MAIN
 bench racer extrodinaire! While we are on the subject why don't ya throw in one of those wide ratio trannies from the modern car. You still don't get it man! OK I'll make it simpler... Drp that 426 HEMI in place of the LS1 and if the rearend somehow survived the 500 or more lbs/ft past the 60' mark... See how much faster it would be!!!! Startin to unnerstan?

Tang
you better add a 12 bolt or a 9" if ur gonna try that, the poor lil 10 bolts GM put in those cars wont take it

DODGE_MAIN
7.5 ring gear! OUCH! Didn't you break yours on that vid ya posted?

JAY
Steve.....

STFU! ;)

DODGE_MAIN
YOU CAINT TAKE IT NO MORE!!!!! submit to MOPAR!!!!!!

One day those fancy wheels of yours will be melted down into ingots and forged into a set of Hemi pistons!!!!

Tang
Steve, I tore 2nd gear out of muh T56....lol Which says I'm rough on equipment

It's a wonder I didn't tear the rear end out tho.

casey5

Tang

That list is missing a few of the really fast cars.. RUQWIKR for one.. His car ran 11.27 @ 120 stock internal & n/a. A few others are missing too.

Here's an updated (complete) list.. To get into the top 25 you'd need to run better than 11.76 @ 114.
