Think autocross only runs on little parking lots?

Heck here the autocrosses are in huge areas. There is the AA Cheney Stadium. There is the Boeing parking lot in Everett. There is also Bremerton Raceway which is an old airport runway plus the taxiway.

What I don't get is why more people don't agree which is the fast way in the slalom pictured. What's up with that? I think the BMW is on the fast line though as it puts you closer to the apex of the sweeper afterwards. The other line puts you on the outer cone of the gate... but who knows where the next turn is... based on the lot shape though, I bet it's a left hander though which makes the BMW line much quicker.

Too bad autocrossing cant be done in some of the nice public parks, because some of those roads are just like a mini race course. Only problem, if you go off course you see a tree instead of a cone.
