Wen't to the track tonight even though I swore I would not run until it got cooler! It was peer pressure plain and simple! :P the last time I ran the car it was a VERY COOL at 54*'s with low humidity! tonight it was almost 80* with very HIGH HUMIDITY! (raining in the distance) I guess I did okay for being pretty much stock. Here is how it wen't...

My MPH was down 1.82MPH tonight, but it was weather related I'm sure. my buddies '89 LX which usually traps 90MPH was only trapping 88MPH.

Yeah, my T/A trapped 84.XX with a lid, !EGR, !FRA, !MAF and a cutout in good weather. my buddy was the one in the Z-28, he just bought it for $9,000! it's a '98 stripper that was a police interceptor, it has a radio and cassette player but not the monsoon, it doesn't even have any speakers in the trunk area like the monsoon does, it has a hard top w/cloth seats. He thought that he would take me ;) he took out the spare tire and jack and even the back seat, plus he has the 16" wheels. His only mods are a Lid which is basically all that I have performance wise except for the dual/dual from the factory. I'm glad I beat him because he has a B1 cam, headers w/OR pipe and a cutout sitting in his garage, it's only a matter of time now!:p

Just add a mod or two to yours and youll be set to keep up or beat him again.
