Interior Fit Question...

I have a '98 Cobra and, as I'm sure a lot of you know, the center console sucks for actually holding drinks and such...I want to toss in a center console from an '03-'04 car...Along with a set of '03-'04 Cobra seats...I figure that the seats won't be crazy easy to install (The power seat wiring is different, right?), and I don't have the cash for them, anyway...But, does anyone have any idea how difficult the console will be to put in? I'm hoping for a simple plug-'n-play sort of deal...

If I remember right the only difference between the console in my 95 and my 2001 was my 95 had an ash tray and the 01 had a cup holder.

The seats should just bolt right in. You may have to splice the pigtail for the power seats but thats no big deal either.

Yeah, my '98 has cupholders, but the placement is just terrible...Even a regular can in the deeper hole still gets hit by my shifter...In my old GT, it wasn't a problem, as it was an automatic...My Cobra is obviously a different story...

I figure that the newer console has the cupholders moved back a bit...And, it looks like it has the same shape and fit...

I've done a little research on the seats, and the wiring is different, but it doesn't matter since I can't afford that nonsense, anyway...
