got back on the road last week!!

got an older truck (it's another Columbia) than my first one, but this one has a Cummins ISX 450 that kicks the living SHIT out of the Detroit 60 I had before :eyebrows: ! This beast could yank a stump out of the ground and gets better fuel economy to boot; with an empty trailer I get better MPG than I did bobtail with the other one. And it can pull at a lower RPM- I can get 10th gear at 45 vs 50-55 most of the time.

Congratulations! And you probably do have a better engine now. The 60 series is fine, but unless you get the high power version(500+), the Cummins or many previous CATs will almost always pull better.
