I am paying my bills on time because that is about all I can afford to do right now.



Oh and I purchased a handgun last week.

Well, GTI hauls for the vast majority of comsumables producers like Kelloggs, Kraft, General Mills, Georgia Pacific, Weyerhaeser, and retailers like Costco, WalMart, and Safeway, etc- people will ALWAYS need food, toity paper, and........DIAPERS!

So we're always busy.

Wasn't too long ago that there was a glut of trucking jobs available- now there's a surplus of experienced drivers, and lots of companies aren't hiring student drivers anymore, so I'm glad I got in when I did! ;)

I've been buying some plants and stuff for the yard but that's about it. If some work would come in, I'd do more! ;)

On the housing side...

We just bought two more houses so I'll be spending a little fixing those up. I also have tenants in a few houses that had their work cut back. I'm offering them work on the other properties to give them a little extra money and so that some of their time can be put against their rent/mortgage. Helps keep them from losing their home and helps us from getting another empty house.

For people in really bad shape we are refinancing some people at lower rates and putting their arrears on a 2nd mortgage. We are defering the payments on the 2nd and not accruing interest until they get back to regular work. Depending on how far they are behind, once they make 12 months of timely payments, we are forgiving some or all of their past due amounts.

On the parts washer side....

I finished a deal with a company in the UK a month or so back. It added enough to the production requirement where we should be adding two more people to the manufacturing side. Starting to investigate leads in Germany, France and Australia now. Maybe get some more metal out the door and hire a few more people here in the US....

Jay, how far are you from Jax? We have some houses there. Nothing needs to be done right now but something comes up every now and then.
