RALLY OF FINLAND THIS WEEKEND!

coverage should start tomorrow evening.

looks to be a good round of racing! the manufacturer's championship is getting close. Ford and Subaru have whittled Peugeot's lead down to within something like 20 points. one round with 2 cars in the top 6 would put Ford in the lead.

the driver's championship is heating up too. a few young and upcoming drivers, while not vying for a championship win, are running fast enough to be able to take points away from current front runners in the championship. its enough to worry the big names at the top and enough to excite those who should be watching! its turning out to be a very close championship this year! alot of young drivers to watch, keeping the old drivers on thier toes!

it's great to see that happening... not to take it away from the old hands but to see the potential of the new blood, waiting in the wings!

the season is gonna be a nail biter it looks like. while there are clear leaders right now, it would take but one round of bad luck for a leader and good luck for a trailer to even out the feild enough to put anyone of of like 5 drivers in striking distance of the championship. with more than 4 rallys left, its a possible finish that could very well happen.

i'm still rooting for Colin McRae though. he's been bad lucked out of teh championship the past 3 years in a row. this should be his win this year. if he can keep the shiny side up and moving fast.
