looking to buy a 200 mustang or 2000 camaro. i just the most relieable and easiy car too work on, just wanted some opions? i know the 4.6l is a weak motor, wat about the ls1? im a ford guy convience me please!

I don't imagine either of them being a picnic to work on. The LS1 is more powerful and would probably be easier to mod than a 4.6. You would have to wait for someone who knows more about it than me to answer. Welcome aboard by the way.

LS1 has more power off the bat, but the parts seem to be more expensive than modding the 4.6 GT motor.

Mustangs do carry a bigger aftermarket. I personally still like the LS1's better. You start off putting more power to the ground than a SOHC 4.6 makes at the flywheel (295-305 rear wheel HP, vs 260 flywheel HP in the Mustang), not to mention they respond really well to mods. Even though I have always been a Ford guy as well, I owned an LS1 for a little while, and would get another without hesitation.
