03 Mach vs 05 GT

So I'm faced with a difficult decision. I have the option of buying an 03 Mach 1 or a 2005 GT. I am fairly new to the whole techinical side of which one has the potentional to outperform the other with ease of additions and cost. I've always been a fan of the Mach 1 but the new 05 is such a new trend I am at a lost. Please anyone help. Which one would be a better choice for someone who wants to be an aggressive driver and upgrade his vehicle over time but also be able to just kick back and cruise.

No contest get the 05.

The '05 would be the obvious choice for the end result of a daily driver. It has tons of advantages over the SN95 thanks to it's much needed new chassis. Conversely, the 3valve('05GT) won't likely ever be quite as capable as the 4valve('03/4 Mach1). Unless you're going "all out" with it, I'd definitely be picking a color and options package for a new one.

I was thinking of the Bullet for some strange reason.

I have invested some dineros in my 98 and I have a 05 as well. I need to decide whether to continue to build the 98 or start the 05. The 05 is great and Lidios shop has one cahrged 10 psi boost pretty much stock running 11.9ish. I would stick with the 05.

Being a mach1 owner, I say go for the '05 as well. :) I installed a couple magnaflows on an '05 Roush, backed it out into the lot next to my mach, walked back into the shop and looked out at them.... DAMN, the S197 platform makes for a GREAT looking ride, no comparion when they're next to each other. I can't wait to see a GT500 in person.... even better!

My '03 Mach runs 11.9's with a stock engine, stock trans/clutch & NO boost.

With that said, the '05/'06's are a major leap in chassis, fit/finish & comfort.

Hey Angus, what mods are done to your Mach?

I like the look of the Mach 1's, and would rather have the 4 valve if I was going to have a 4.6 .
