ok nabors got 69 ford 4x4 with 205 t-case same size tires all around same gears front and rear now if u take front shaft off go's fine visaversa go's fine butt with both on it drages rear tire (locks up) any idea???

I always wondered if the gears couldnt be identicle for some reason. We had a '76 F-150 4x4 that had 3.89's in the back and 3.91's in the front, and thats what the tags on the housings said. Ive seen a few more like that also.

ford did do that so when your in the mud and u !can! it your front tires spin a litel fastr so u can steer beter ....don't worry it's a good thing!
