Just rebuilt my 302, 91 lx 5.0. gt40p heads, e303 cam, gt40 intake. everything is together and running the cam is right, distributer points at #1 on the cap, if I time it at 14 degrees it runs terrible and misses alot, if I advance it alot and I mean alot it still misses but not as much but it pings like crazy...there doesn't seem to be any happy medium. as soon as I back it off a hair to stop pinging under acceleration it starts missing real bad again. Any help would be great.
